I am so excited to be at the end of the race, almost to the finish line, to getting this new store website up and running. I've only been on Etsy for the past several years and it was comfortable. It was easy. Hand holding was involved. I had no idea how much hand holding there was until I started to create my own website. Even though Shopify basically spoon feeds you the templates, they are waaaaaaay more involved than what I'm expected to know how to do on Etsy. But I persevered! I only cried a handful of times. I only curled up into a ball and stared blankly wondering what I've gotten myself into twice! Adulting is hard, but solopreneuring is SO hard!
What is all this whining and lamenting all about? Why write about it on a company website of all places?! Because you are my friend. If you're shopping at my store it's because you love board games (or you know someone who does and you're shopping for them and that makes you awesome). And well, friends don't lie. But also because I have big plans for Gaming Upgraded. And I want to take you along for the ride.
So thank you. Thank you for reading this far. Thank you for being at my shop in the first place! Most of all thank you for being my friend.
